Can’t talk now…

…my mum’s here so not much time to post.

but interesting things that have happened this week so far…

B Girl poked me in the eye, resulting in a visit to pronto scorso (accident and emergency) and a very swollen eye – cheers B Girl

We all have a cold, well Stef has Influenza because he’s a man and an Italian, the rest of us just have old fashioned colds.

We are currently arguing about whether the French word for woman is femme or famme. It’s so femme (isn’t it?)

We’re all enjoying a lovely family reunion, my mum’s babysitting while I stuff myself with Cadburys cream eggs, no complaints here.

It’s spelled ‘femme’ but pronounced ‘famme’… so in a way, you’re both right! :)Hope you’re all feeling better!

  2. Typesetter says:

And don’t forget the traditional Italian cure for swollen eyes. Chamomille. Lots of cold chamomille, a piece of cloth and relax while the cold drops crawl from the soaked cloth right into your hair (which is why the cure does not work: those dops drive you MAAAD!)

  3. Yael says:

I agree Annika but I daren’t bring the argument up again, we nearly had pistols at dawn over that!TS – Thats the first thing my MIL suggested but then she suggests chamomille for everything and I normally just ignore her (giggle)

  4. denise says:

ok so its the hippy dippy cousin in taiwan posting but……. the best thing to reduce redness and soreness of your eyes…ready for it? breast milk! over to youdenise
